By developing and personalizing curriculum for each student’s needs, creating opportunities to perform at seasonal recitals, and encouraging creativity through composition, Janie hopes to cultivate a love for the arts and build on key character values.

The Janie Renee piano studio seasonal recitals are a sight to behold!
As an artist and performer herself, Janie purposefully organizes each showcase to create space for reflection and foster creative expression. At previous recitals, students have paired their piano pieces with paintings, video clips, nature sounds, and accompaniment.
At each winter and spring recital, students are exposed to the joys and victories, as well as the nerves and mistakes of performance art. They are reminded of how far they have come, and all that is ahead.
Each recital reminds students to “think big” while also facing the fact that success in piano takes time and consistency.
